Members of the public were presented with information on the impact of recent Atlantic hurricanes on the Caribbean region, as well as house construction and retrofitting advice by structural engineers Tony Gibbs and Grenville Phillips at the public seminar "Protecting Your Homes Against Hurricanes" held by the Barbados Association of Professional Engineers on June 27, 2006.
